The Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate watches are named after the US railroad magnates. This watch is equipped with Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 automatic calibre that is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse de Chronométres (COSC) – the official Swiss institute that tests chronometers. The movement performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 21 bearing jewels. A 42-hour power reserve is available. The watch is protected from shock, magnetic influences and water penetration. Hands, indices and numerals are illuminated through the use of 28 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. A separate hand and an illuminated second time zone are the most prominent characteristic. Additional functionalities include lens above the date display, 24-hour luminova printing bezel, patented crown protection system, patented deployant buckle and extension system, engraved case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
