Founded in 1881 by the current CEO’s Great grandfather, Seiko's name derived from ‘Seikosha’ or ‘House of precision'. With a purpose to pursue watchmaking excellence, Seiko has grown into a global timekeeping presence. Renowned for horological innovation with a stream of world firsts including the first TV watches, Seiko created the first ever quartz watch in 1969. Seiko timepieces deliver precisely beautiful Japanese aesthetics, brought to life through total in-house manufacture.
KING SEIKO Collection
After more than half a century, Seiko have revived one of their greatest historic icons with the King Seiko watch collection. The series was originally created back in 1961 by the Daini Seikosha factory in Tokyo with the intention of creating the world’s most beautiful and accurate timepiece. Today’s range of luxury men’s watches continues this mission, opting for sleek cases, flat dials and the legendary textured hour marker at 12 o’clock.
