Official Retailer for Meccaniche Veloci Watches

Jura Watches is incredibly excited to introduce you all to Meccaniche Veloci, an independent luxury Italian watch brand born in Milan but now manufactured in Switzerland. Sourcing inspiration from the mechanics of fast engines, their two key collections, the Icon and the QuattroValvole, underpin their uncompromising watchmaking excellence with unique watch designs that bring to life the distinctive shape of engine pistons with four different time zones displayed on the dial to reflect four engine valves.

Despite having only been founded in 2006, Meccaniche Veloci watches have already established themselves as one of the finest, combining their stubbornly individualist Italian creative soul with the best of Geneva’s watchmaking traditions. A decade after their founding, Meccaniche Veloci moved from Milan to the heart of Switzerland’s luxury watchmaking district of Plan les Ouates where they set up an exclusive exhibition space in a former mechanical workshop – a very fitting home for their engine-inspired timepieces! Since then, Meccaniche Veloci watches have been entirely Swiss manufactured with every single component, from the strap, bezel and dial, produced in Switzerland.

Meccaniche Veloci watches are also home to only in-house Swiss Manufacture movements, something only a handful of luxury watch brands in the world can also attest to. The MV 8802 mechanical automatic winding calibre is the powerhouse of both the Meccaniche Veloci QuattroValvole and Icon collections, delivering four independent time zones on the dial, an instantaneous date window and stop seconds function. The movement also impresses with a healthy power reserve of 48 hours, 33 jewels and a high-precision frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. All Meccaniche Veloci watches also showcase a stunning exhibition case back where you can witness the cog-shaped, perlage finished rotor spin with every movement of the wrist.

Meccaniche Veloci QuattroValvole Watches

The Meccaniche Veloci QuattroValvole watch was the brand’s first ever release back in 2006, and its design revealed the very DNA they would soon become famous for. Taking its name from the Italian expression for four valves per cylinder in an engine, the QuattroValvole has a design inspired by a piston shape and displays four different time zones simultaneously on its dial.  Delivered in brushed natural titanium or opulent 18 carat rose gold, the cases measure to 49mm in diameter with polished bezels and guilloche or carbon fibre dials. The single dial is also protected by large sapphire crystal glass to protect the four separate subsidiary dials. The Meccaniche Veloci QuattroValvole collection captures the true essence of Meccaniche Veloci - Geneve.

Meccaniche Veloci Icon Watches

While the Meccaniche Veloci QuattroValvole has a single piece of sapphire glass to protect the dial, the Meccaniche Veloci Icon makes a statement with an enclosed case with four separate dials displaying individual time zones, each with their own sapphire crystal glass for protection. Again, measuring to 49mm in diameter, the Icon is delivered in a choice of brushed titanium, 18 rose gold or a sporty black DLC coated titanium. One of our favourite models is the Meccaniche Veloci Icon Nite Lite watch which delivers four separate dials decorated in their own vivid guilloche-decorated colour including black, pink, light blue and green.
