Since 2001, telling the time with one hand has been the Meistersinger way and has given the brand a unique identity. The new Meistersinger N.01 watch for 2023 displays all the characteristics of the popular line perfectly. Its functional typography displays double digits around the hour track, whilst the fine needle-like hour hand symbolises simplicity and elegance. There is no doubt that the display of the watch promotes a relaxed approach to timekeeping. A glossy white dial is home to gold hour markers that do a grand job of shimmering under the light, whilst the central hour hand is sleek and black. The five-minute indices are finished in a deep blue to provide another level of detail to the dial. The Sellita SW210 has been modified by experts at Meistersinger to suit its single-handed DNA. Designed for those who truly appreciate winding their watch at the same time each day, the manually winding movement promises a power reserve of 42 hours and celebrates the concept of precious time that is continually moving forward. Sadly, you don’t get to see this movement at work behind a sapphire-backed case, but the concept of the manually winding movement does put the wearer in turn with the watch in this unique way. The hand of the dial is both an hour hand and a minute hand combined in one. Accurate to five minutes, the dial of the No1 watch divides the time into half and quarter hours to make it easy to locate the time quickly and effectively. So, if the hand points to five strokes after ten, the time is 10:25.
