This year, Tissot releases the T-Race Cycling 2023 Special Edition watch with a vibrant yellow strap that is sure to grab attention whether on the Tour De France route or just enjoyed on the wrist at the weekend with casual sporty attire.
The new Tissot T-Race Tour De France 2023 Special Edition watch is a cycling-inspired design once again. It features an asphalt grained dial adorned with a striking yellow-coloured seconds hand that features a bike motif as its counterweight. As the chronograph second hand travels over the dial, it meets a minute scale combined with circular markers that represent each of the 12-hour markers. Surrounding this section is a detailed tachymeter scale with markers finished in white to ensure they stand out from the rest of the dial. The chronograph display of this new T-Race Cycling watch from Tissot offers you the 30-minute counter at 10 o’clock, a 1/10th of a second counter at 2 o’clock and a 60 seconds counter at 6 o’clock. This trio of sub-dials is brought together closely to afford more space for the rest of the display. Lastly, a date window sits at 4 o’clock. The case also measures a diameter of 43.5mm and has been integrated with a water resistance of 100 meters. To enhance readability in dark conditions, the hands and indexes of the dial have been treated with Super-LumiNova, which glows richly during the night or in light-compromised conditions. Inside the case is a reliable Swiss-made quartz movement that sits behind a specially designed caseback featuring the Tour De France logo on its surface. Bringing the entire design to life is a vibrant yellow-coloured synthetic rubber band. In previous models, the inside of the band has been embossed with a bicycle-inspired pattern, yet the new release features a repeated “T” pattern. The strap can also be swapped for an additional strap supplied with the watch using the brand’s quick interchangeable strap system. The black perforated leather band creates a more sophisticated finish to the wrist and will come in handy when wanting to dress the watch up with a smart outfit during the evening.
