A Guide to the Best Gucci Watches

Impressively, Gucci has 100 years of trade behind its name. Having started out in 1923, opening a luxury boutique in Florence, Italy, its reputation has grown and grown. To mark the brand’s 100th year of existence, Gucci entered the watchmaking game on a much more serious level this year. It launched the 25H watch collection – a series of timepieces with a premium price tag, an expertly developed sports watch design, and an in-house developed movement. The Gucci 25H watch collection

Named after Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele’s favourite number, the 25H watch collection is an incredibly innovative breed of watch that takes direction from the desirable steel sports watch look that has grown in popularity over the last few years. The models feature a round bezel with a tonneau-shaped case that conceals a crown and come in several case material options. An all-grey option crafted from stainless steel with a silvery dial features the number of the automatic calibre that powers it on its dial surface at 6 o’clock, as does its diamond-set sibling, also crafted in steel. The remaining two models convey a more luxurious and premium feel with a case crafted entirely from 18ct yellow gold and a 950 platinum option. Both models are powered by a tourbillon movement, also made in house. The feature is made visible through an open-heart design at the 6 o’clock location of the dial. These Gucci 25H watches all measure a diameter of 38mm, appealing to both male and female wrists.

The Gucci G-Chrono watches

Affordably priced, but offering an unconventional chronograph dial layout, the Gucci G-Chrono watch range showcases a selection of modern timepieces built with stopwatch features for keeping track of average speeds and measuring heart rates, among many other uses. These 41mm models come in different case finishes including a black PVD-coated stainless steel model with yellow gold-coloured accents seen in the dial elements and the lugs. There’s also a stainless steel option, dressed on a rugged steel bracelet that secures with a refined folding clasp. With central chronograph seconds and a 30-minute totaliser, Gucci G-Chrono watches exude a technical look whilst also completing formal, smart or casual attire perfectly.

Gucci G-Timeless watches

Our Gucci G-Timeless watch collection offers plenty of versatility when it comes to choosing an elegant wristwatch for wearing every day of the week. In this collection, Gucci incorporates many of its iconic house motifs such as the Kingsnake dial decoration, the feline motif and the hour tracks represented by hearts, studs and stars. Of course, as their names suggest, Gucci G-Timeless watches are designed to stand the test of the time, with faultless designs that never tire with age. From the Gucci G-Timeless watch collection you can choose between stainless steel and yellow gold PVD bi-coloured designs, timepieces on leather bands, material strap options, and, of course, the signature red and green striped design that has featured throughout Gucci’s catalogue of leather goods, lifestyle accessories, bags, and watches.

Gucci G-Frame watches

Gucci’s range of G-Frame watches are characterised by rectangular-shaped cases and square-shaped cases, executed in a mix of different finishes. These models present the time on different dial designs from classic black, to scintillating diamond-adorned displays, to striped green and red dials, as well as models with elegant mother of pearl elements. These G-Frame watches for ladies offer a choice between traditional metal link bracelets and yellow gold PVD-coated mesh-style bracelets – many of which feature dials adorned with the famous Gucci bee motif at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock locations.

Gucci GG2570 watches

The Gucci GG2570 watch collection is the place to look if you’re in search of a classic dress watch design. These elegant timepieces feature three-handed models with discreet date apertures located at 6 o’clock for effortless tracking of the passing days of each month. The surface of the dials in the Gucci GG2570 watch collection is characterised by the famous G-Frame motif, whilst the 12 o’clock locations are emblazoned with the brand’s bold Gucci lettering. Some ladies Gucci watches from this series features sparkling diamond dot indexes, whilst the men’s Gucci watch selection from the GG2570 range features sharp, angular baton hour markers, luminous hands and confident case sizes fitted with equally robust stainless steel bracelets.

Gucci Dive watches

As well as its broad spectrum on offer in classic dress watch and sport watch categories - Gucci has also produced a range of dive watches that come equipped with all the familiar features one would expect of a reliable, luxury wristwatch. Strong materials, a legible dial, a reliable movement and a unidirectional rotating bezel all deem these Gucci Dive watches perfect tools for plenty of daring underwater exploration. What makes the Gucci Dive watch collection even more interesting is its range of elaborately detailed dials that feature some of the brand’s most famous motifs including the powerful Kingsnake symbol. Finished in yellow golden or silver accents, the Kingsnake motif is shown stealthily meandering up the black dials of some of these Gucci Dive watches, surrounded by a legible hour track represented by luminous markers. Gucci Dive watches also come on a choice of different straps from material green and red bands, to robust stainless steel link bracelets, and Gucci-embossed black rubber bands.
