Corum Watch Ambassador Wins Trofeo Princesa Sofia MAPFRE

Corum watch ambassador Ben Ainslie who will compete in the Olympic Games 2012 has won the Trofeo Princesa Sofia MAPFRE in Palma.
The event is one of seven which is held for the ISAF Sailing World Cup. Ainslie was competing against 85 other boats in the Finn category. After winning the Sail Melbourne in Australia in December and coming second in the Rolex Miami ORC in America in January Ainslie went into the Princesa Sofia in first place closely followed by fellow Brit Giles Scott and went on to win.
The next events in the competition will be the Semaine Olympique Francais the Delta Lloyd Regatta the Skanda Sail for Gold and the Keiler Woche.
Ben Ainslie who has been a Corum watch ambassador since 2008 said: The comeback to Finn has been hard work. I need to work more on my fitness. It is good to see the other British do well it is motivating and good for sailing in England.
