Two Hamilton watches will star alongside Bruce Willis in the new movie 'A Good Day to Die Hard'.
Due to be released in February 2013, the film is the fifth in the 'Die Hard' series in which Bruce Willis plays John McClane, a New York City police detective. The Hamilton Khaki X-Patrol and Jazzmaster Viewmatic watches will both make appearances in the new movie, continuing the watch brand's long association with Hollywood.
John McClane wears the classic Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic, named after its see-through case back. The watch has a 44 mm stainless steel case and is powered by Swiss-made ETA 2824-2 automatic calibre movement. Additional features include a date display at 3 o'clock, scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, and luminous hands and dial elements for improved visibility in the dark. It comes with a brown leather strap and is available now for £540.00.
The Hamilton Khaki X-Patrol is worn by John McClane's son, Jack, played by Jai Courtney. The watch is equipped with Hamilton's H-21 calibre with an extended power reserve up to 60 hours. A turning bezel provides conversions for distances in miles (nautical or statute) and kilometres, heights or altitudes in feet or metres, volumes in gallons or litres, and weights in pounds and kilograms. The timepiece has a 42 mm stainless steel case, with sapphire crystal and a black leather strap. It is available now for £1,300.
