The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Chronograph SAS038 is exclusively available to order at Jura Watches. This watch automatically adjusts to 39 time zones using just the power of light.
Seiko Astron watches receive signals from four or more GPS satellites with one simple touch of a button, determining the wearer's location and automatically setting the correct local time and date.
City codes and their offset times are aligned with the map along the edge of the dial ring, and the respective times of two regions can be displayed by the dial and sub-dial.

Part of a special series of Seiko Astron watches, this model has a bold, domed sapphire glass inspired by the curvature of the Earth. The smooth, curved surface of the glass is achieved by over 10 hours of polishing.
"Imagine our planet as you would see it from space; a blue sphere floating freely, silently and beautifully in its graceful orbit," Seiko explains. "This is the idea that has inspired the new design and it was realised by the creation of a dome-shaped sapphire glass. The spherical surface extends from the glass to the case and to the silicon band, creating the overall illusion that the watch is like our Earth moving through space. What better design could there be for a watch that talks to the stars?"
The watch is powered by the Calibre 7X52 movement and has a stainless steel case measuring 48.2 mm. Additional features include a perpetual calendar correct to the year 2100, Daylight Saving Time function, power save function and water resistance to 10 bar.
