Basel Review New Watches from Bremont

Limited Edition Victory Watch
The Bremont Victory Watch has been created in association with The National Museum of the Royal Navy, in tribute to the famous HMS Victory - Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

The limited edition timepiece is made with original copper and oak timber from the HMS Victory, with incredible details to the rear of the watch - including a gold rotor displaying Nelson's personal seal, and an engraving of some of his last words.

The Bremont Victory is limited to 250 pieces, and parts of the proceeds of each watch will be donated to the ongoing restoration of the ship. It is due for release in November at a price of £11,995, but can be pre-ordered now for a deposit of £500.

ALT1-WT

The ALT1-WT is Bremont's first World Timer watch, based upon a global timer chronometer that the brand produced for the military C-17 Globemaster crew in 2010.

Taking inspiration from the C-17 model, the ALT1-WT features a Roto-Click bezel that allows the wearer to work out global time zones, to the sound of a satisfying 'click' with each turn.

The 43 mm case is made from hardened stainless steel, with a scratch resistant PVD treated case barrel. Bremont's hardening processes give the steel a hardness and scratch resistance of 2000 Vickers, significantly higher than the 300 Vickers of a standard untreated stainless steel watch case. The sapphire crystal covering the dial has nine layers of anti-reflective treatment on each side, reducing light reflections by up to 95%.

The dial is available in three colours: black, blue or white, and the modified automatic chronometer (COSC) certified BE-54AE movement can be seen through a sapphire crystal caseback.

The ALT1-WT will be available in July for £3,995, but it can be pre-ordered now for a deposit of £500. The watch is presented in a leather travel wallet, with an extra NATO military nylon strap and a strap changing tool.
