Bremont Watch Wins 'Breakthrough Brand' at Luxury Briefing Awards

Bremont was awarded the honour of Best Breakthrough Brand at the 2012 Luxury Briefing Awards this week.
The award celebrates the incredible success of the British luxury watch brand in the last year, recognising its achievements in design, manufacturing, marketing and commercial appeal.
"Both Nick and I are so pleased with this award and the recognition of the hard work that everyone at Bremont has put in," said Giles English, co-founder of Bremont. "As a business we still have a long way to go as we grow internationally, but really believe our product and passion will really take us to the next level. We are also very conscious of all the support that clients and press have given us over the years and cannot thank them enough."
Nick English, co-founder of Bremont, and Denise Shepherd, Managing Director of Escada UK Ltd.

Luxury Briefing was founded in 1997 as a report on all sectors of the luxury market, including fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches, interiors, media and travel. As the only publication of its kind it is extremely well-regarded within the luxury world, and the Luxury Briefing Awards are described as the 'Oscars of the industry' - offering a true insider's view on the best and brightest luxury brands.

Held in London's Corintia Hotel, the 2012 Luxury Briefing Awards was the 16th annual celebration of talent and excellence within the luxury market. The winners were decided by a panel of passionate luxury experts: Carmen Busquets, who funded Natalie Massenet and Net-a-Porter and won last year's Outstanding Achievement award; Jamie Jouning of Condé Nast Digital; Simon Burstein, CEO of Browns; Chris Sanderson of The Future Laboratory; and Mimma Viglezio, former Head of Communications for Gucci and Bulgari. The panel also selected Burberry, Stella McCartney, Spencer Hart and Mary Katrantzou to receive awards on the night.

Successfully launching a brand in a market established on heritage and tradition is a real accomplishment, so to be recognised at such a prestigious event will be an extremely proud moment for Bremont. With the highly-anticipated launch of its Limited Edition Victory Watch, 2012 is set to be an exciting year for the British brand.
