Raymond Weil Watch Continues Partnership with BRIT Awards

Raymond Weil has created a new limited edition timepiece to celebrate its ongoing partnership with the BRIT Awards.

The 2014 BRIT Awards ceremony is set to take place on 19th February at the O2 Arena, London. Raymond Weil is the Official Watch and Timing Partner of the prestigious music event, and recently announced its long term partnership will continue until 2016.

A special Raymond Weil timepiece, limited to just 85 pieces, will be presented to each of the nominees, presenters and performers at the 2014 BRIT Awards. The design is based on the Raymond Weil Nabucco, a watch that "exemplifies the absolute best of the brand’s watchmaking know-how, craftsmanship and design excellence". The BRIT Awards 2014 logo can be seen on the case back.

"We are delighted to announce our continued partnership with the BRIT Awards," said Elie Bernheim, Raymond Weil Director. "Music and watchmaking have a lot in common. Whether it is the inspiration that comes from the artist or designer and watchmaker or the precision needed to achieve the highest of standards. The BRIT Awards has played a significant role in the success of our brand over the past eight years and we are excited about executing our campaign plans over the next three years as an important part of our global music marketing strategy."

Maggie Crowe, BPI Director added: "This announcement is fantastic news and the timing could not be more appropriate as we countdown to the 2014 show. We welcome for the eighth year in succession RAYMOND WEIL as our Official Watch & Timing Partner and we are delighted to extend our association with such a universally known brand."

A nationwide advertising campaign has been launched to promote Raymond Weil's association with the awards, with adverts appearing in the UK's largest cities.
