Fortis Watch Terrestis Orchestra A.M. Watch Review

The exquisite Fortis Watch Terrestis Orchestra A.M. adopts a musically minded attitude.

In particular, the timepiece adopts the attitude and presence of a live orchestra within a watch platform. A great, powerful orchestra sits above rivals hitting the hearts of music enthusiasts with their love for detail. Appreciating that each individual part has to work harmoniously in order to perform perfectly is where the influence and watchmaking cross over and come into play. The beautiful sound of a good, well rehearsed orchestra is achieved via all instruments being well tuned and operating correctly in time. This ethos is applied to Fortis’ exquisite timepieces ensuring that all parts work together effortlessly to tell the time in a precise and accurate manner. An element that is vital to true timekeeping.

The Fortis Watch Terrestis Orchestra A.M. marries smooth curves with precise edges to present an instrument that embraces nostalgic elegance. Taking influence from the 1930’s Fortis designs and echoing the drop-shaped lugs the beautiful device embodies a classic feel with a contemporary edge. The dial is neat and clean with a minimal feel frame with a stainless steel casing. The straight black lines provide a formality to the piece, which contrasts against the rose gold hue of the hour, minute and second hands as well as the four indices at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The date display sits proudly at 6 o’clock and the tan leather strap finishes the traditional aspect perfectly.
