Dr. Josh Wurman is a Ball watch ambassador and a famous research meteorologist. The Fireman Storm Chaser collection is dedicated to his work. This timepiece is equipped with Swiss-made ETA 7750 automatic calibre. Hands and dial elements are illuminated through the use of 18 micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. Storm chasers will be very happy with two of the timepiece's main features. A tachymeter scale is available, as well as a telemeter that can calculate the distance between the wearer and any object of interest. Additional functionalities include day and date display at 3 o'clock, a chronograph that measures up to 12 hours, subsidiary seconds, screwed-in crown and anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. The watch is protected from shock and water penetration.
