Corum 73rd Edition Of The Bol D’Or Mirabaud Watch Review
Wednesday - 15 February 2012
Luxury watch brand Corum launched the 73rd edition of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud recently.
The starting gun went off at 10am and the 477 sailing teams set off. One D-35 Ikalys Corum team member fell overboard just after the start but was rescued by his team. Damien Cardenoso managed to continue the race despite an injured ankle.
Speaking of the rescue skipper Loick Peyron said: We absolutely had to succeed in our maneuver since we would have been forced to withdraw from the race if a security boat had to intervene.
He added: Sailing is a team sport and every team member plays a very important part.
