Casio G-Shock GDF 100 Watch Review
Wednesday - 15 February 2012
Casio has announced the launch of its G-shock GDF 100 designer watch.
It is the latest edition to Casio’s flagship G-shock line. The watch has been designed with those who enjoy the great outdoors in mind and is a sturdy watch designed to withstand any kind of outdoor adventure.
It has a built-in twin sensor and a front-facing pressure and temperature sensor which is built into the watch case at 9 o’clock. The pressure sensor measures barometric pressure and also converts it into relative altitude readings based on International Standard Atmosphere conversion values. These can then be stored in the watch’s memory.
Temperature and altitude can be displayed simultaneously on the watch face at any time, which is particularly beneficial for climbers.
Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division, said: “We are excited to offer a new G-Shock geared toward the outdoor adventurer. The GDF100 offers a rugged, yet functional timepiece option for any wilderness outing.”
