Founded in 1743 from Moise Dibois in Le Locle was the company DuBois et Fils. Not long after producing watches in 1751 Moise DuBois passed over the business to his son Philippe DuBois in 1760. The Company was then re-named in 1785 to Dubois et fils when his two sone joined the business. Dubois et Fils watches is the oldest Swiss watch factory with one of the oldest Swiss watch brands in the world.
