Alpina Watches Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph Big Date Watch Review

Alpina Watches unveils the striking Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph Big Date.

The Seastrong collection received global recognition back in the 1960’s with the extraordinary capabilities - the Seastrong “10” was reaching depths of 200m/660ft, which in the sixties was a phenomenal advancement for diving watches. Alpina has of course, continued to progress in this field throughout the years which the Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph clearly demonstrates in 2015.

The masterpiece is specifically designed for professional divers in mind and the extreme conditions that present themselves deep undersea level. Adopting the role of loyal companion the timepiece can cope in the inhabitable environment with it’s water resistance reaching 300 meters. To explain the capabilities of this stunning machine further, the watch can survive in depths that is physically impossible for human beings!!

The Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph Big Date is designed to ‘see what you need to see, when you need to see it.’ To ensure the expedition is completely safe, the diver can rely on the features implemented into the device to provide the correct information at precisely the right time. The aluminium, unidirectional, turning bezel turns anti-clockwise to ensure that minutes can never be accidentally decreased, only increased; a life saving tool that is required when diving to extreme levels.

The 60 minutes markers on the vivid orange, subtle grey, velvety purple or striking blue bezel and the indexes that sit on the black dial are luminous for enhanced readability in restricted lighting. Also, the minute’s hand is purposely enlarged to easily read diving time. Other features that are well suited and essential to the professional diver is the scratch resistant sapphire crystal, the 44 mm stainless steel cushion shaped case, the screw-in crown and case back which features an engraving of the Alpina diving symbol plus the resilient, water-resistant leather strap. Alpina has certainly considered the necessities that a diver requires when reaching unimaginable depths. The professional can trust and rely on the Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph Big Date to experience the journey alongside its wearer.

Dive in and witness the Seastrong Diver 300 Chronograph Big Date for yourself.
