Cara Delevingne Attends TAG Heuer Watch Boat Party
Thursday - 28 May 2015
TAG Heuer celebrates their 30 year alliance with the McLaren-Honda Team with a boat party the evening before the Grand Prix.
A just reason to host a party for nurturing a partnership that holds the longest running title in F1; a proud honour to recognise. New ambassador supermodel Cara Delevingne, DJ Mark Ronson, Fernando Alonso and of course, the McLaren-Honda Team attended the celebration held on-board the SeaDream, which was moored in the Principality’s harbour and decorated in the TAG Heuer’s brand colours. Jean-Claude Biver, President of the LVMH Group Watch Division and CEO of TAG Heuer greeted guests to the exclusive event.
The boat party was held to honour TAG Heuer’s remarkable history with motorsport and the ACM who are responsible for organising the Grand Prix and have reached their 125th year in the honourable role. Cara Delevingne was given the honour of starting the Grand Prix as a “Grid Girl” due to her association with the watch brand.
Jean-Claude Biver explains: “Sport is emotion, it is success, joy, hope, endurance, performance. All the qualities that are also found in a TAG Heuer watch. And to be completed: Swiss Avant Garde since 1860 is our slogan. It’s a state of mind that drives us, today more than ever, to be disruptive, connected to the future, high-tech, young and dynamic. Our activity in Monaco brings together all these ingredients, those of a luxury brand which has all the hallmarks of a high-end product, but one which is still accessible.”
TAG Heuer understands the close connection that bonds watchmaking and motor racing due to their vast experience within both fields. The idea to excel above expectation in performance is in the D.N.A of the brand resulting in chronographs that successfully push the boundaries of chronometric accuracy.
