We are incredibly excited to announce another new watch brand to the Jura Watches family: AVI-8! Seeking to provide sophisticated design, optimal durability, and high precision movements to a world of pilots, AVI-8 watches seemed like the perfect fit for our brand and we are so eager to unveil all their latest collections to you now!
One of our favourite things about AVI-8 watches is their intentions within design and production. Rather than just creating another standard pilot watch, they look deeper into the shapes and forms of aircrafts and try to tell stories of aviation and the history of flying through each unique design. While celebrating the best of both man and machine, AVI-8 watches are also destined to offer just as much practicality on land as they do in the sky by using cutting-edge materials for robustness and high precision automatic and quartz movements for optimal precision.

As well as honouring the revolutionary machines that fly our skies, each AVI-8 watch praises the engineers, scientists, designers, and pilots that first braved them. Whether it was aircrafts designed for the purpose of a country’s defence or machines driven by a desire for adrenaline, AVI-8 take inspiration from some of the world’s most legendary planes to create their remarkable collections. We absolutely love the AVI-8 Flyboy range which plays on the term “Flyboy”, a word often used to describe a young pilot belonging to the air force. Their heroism, confidence and bravado is beautifully commemorated in each AVI-8 Flyboy watch with quirky dial designs and powerful Japanese movements at their core.
The AVI-8 Hawker Harrier watch collection is another fine example of the brand’s ability to bring aviation history back to life. The Harrier plane was a result of many refinements but it’s defining traits were found in its remarkable manoeuvrability, raised bubble cockpit for day and night operability, a lighter composite fuselage and one-piece wing. Inside the cockpit, the Inertial Navigational System made the Harrier's a dream to fly and within AVI-8 Hawker Harrier watches, most notably the chronographs, you can quickly see how the functionality, visibility and ease of use of the iconic plane is implemented within the watch design.
