The collaboration between Michel Parmigiani and the Sandoz Family Foundation was the start of a relationship spanning over 20 years. On May 29th 1996, Parmigiani Fleurier was born and within three years the creation of the Kalpa Hebdomadaire wristwatch changed the direction of the brand completely. The decision to develop an integrated manufacture to guarantee quality and Michel Parmigiani Fleurier’s demanding standards was made. In less than six years, the Parmigiani Fleurier hub was realised offering a centre that enables for every component to be conceived and manufactured on site - a very rare set up with few watch brands achieving such a status. So far the organisation have successfully manufactured 33 movements - an impressive statistic that the brand are incredibly proud of.
