This time, the brand releases a sporty two-tone version that is perfect for outdoor pursuits but easily doubles up as an expression of elegance and sophistication during the evening.

The Adventure Sport watch by Norqain is a versatile sports watch. This range of well-equipped automatic watches offers everything from simple three-handed models to day-date iterations and even sportier chronograph complications. The dials stand out with a distinct herringbone dial pattern that is a signature for Norqain, whilst other models feature vivid splashes of colour to inject a sportier appeal to the wrist. The new Chrono Day-Date watch promises everything its name suggests - a capable chronograph complication that proves useful for measuring elapsed time, together with a simple hour and minute hand and a way to track the days of the week and the dates of the month in one single location at 3 o’clock. The model measures a comfortable 41mm diameter, which is pretty standard for a chronograph, yet its subtle touches of luxurious gold elevate the timepiece further, creating a companion that wears well during the evening as well as during the daytime. The two-tone design comes in the form of a 316L stainless steel case and an 18ct rose gold bezel with a legible black aluminium insert. The bezel is also unidirectionally rotating, meaning that it can turn only in the counterclockwise direction. This ensures that time cannot be accidentally knocked and extended. The two-tone steel and gold outfit of the watch is new for the Adventure Sport collection and sits at a height of 15mm on the wrist.
A double-domed sapphire crystal glass front secures to the top of this new Adventure Sport Chrono Day-Date watch from Norqain. Its scratch-resistant surface has been treated with anti-reflective material to ensure it rids the wearer’s view from glare when referencing the dial in all light conditions. Helping to upkeep the 100-meter water resistance of this case is a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock engraved with the Norqain logo. There’s also an additional option to have the side of the case engraved with a personal message if desired on the left side of the design. That recognisable herringbone dial pattern can be appreciated upon the surface of the display in these new designs, inspired by the Swiss mountains in which the brand is located.
White details can be seen set against the rich black textured dial of the Sport Chrono Day-Date watch. This legible minute track is accompanied by diamond-cut faceted indexes that glimmer under the light. These features have also been treated with Super-LumiNova to improve legibility at night, along with a gold plating. The central hour and minute hands, which join a central chronograph seconds hand, have also been treated with luminous material and are sword-shaped. The black-filled chronograph counters at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock have a refined golden chamfer and compliment the triangular-shaped tip of the chronograph seconds hand. The day and date feature at 3 o’clock sits above red lettering depicting the “Automatic” lettering, which denotes the automatic movement sitting within its robust case.
The engine of the new Norqain Adventure Sport Chrono Day-Date watch is the Calibre NN17, which provides a power reserve of 62 hours and performs at a rate of 28.800 vibrations per hour. It also features a special Norqain rotor. This can be admired through the back of the case via a sapphire crystal exhibition feature.
