Bremont Launches All-New Altimeter Series for Watches & Wonders 2025
Thursday - 03 April 2025
The all-new Altimeter watch collection by Bremont comprises a GMT complication and marks the return of the Trip Tick construction.
There is no doubt that Bremont dominated much of the pre and post-Watches and Wonders 2024 talk last year. For that reason, it was probably one of the most anticipated brands for this year’s event in Geneva. This year was, of course, the British watchmaker’s chance to crystalize the idea of solidity and consistency throughout its collections and prove any sceptics wrong. Last year was all about the Terra Nova watches; this year, the spotlight has been shed directly on the Altimeter watch collection. However, two of the most abstract designs of the Terra Nova collection need a quick mention.
The Jumping Hour Bronze watch features a complete bronze bracelet and a flat front, with an aperture at 12 o’clock for the hours and a circular aperture below that displaying the running seconds, accompanied by the new Wayfinder logo. Beneath this is the crescent-shaped minutes aperture. Inspired by 20th-century trench watches, this unique-looking design will develop its own patina over time thanks to its cupro-aluminium alloy. Another talking point is the Bremont Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour in 904L stainless steel. Here, the Jumping Hour aperture is relocated to the 9 o’clock area, while the minutes are positioned to the right. The glossy black dial has an Art Deco-inspired chapter ring around the edge, creating a new and unusual take on Bremont watches as we once used to know them.
Aside from these new edgy references, Bremont is debuting an all-new Altitude collection. The models cement the brand’s heritage in flight and in developing cutting-edge aviation watches, including those like the MB Meteor watch – the latest in the Martin Baker ejector seat series. The collection has always offered special limited edition watches for those who have survived the ejection seat process. Still, they were also constructed using special anti-shock components, which required reworked movements. Interestingly, these Altimeter watches see the return of Bremont’s Trip-Tick case technology, but now in a slimmer form with reworked lugs.

The MB Meteor watch is named after a famous aircraft – a recurring theme in Bremont’s old catalogue. The Gloster Meteor was Britain’s very first jet fighter and is paid homage to in a 42mm titanium design with a Rotor-Click inner bezel and a brushed titanium bracelet. On the black dial, Bremont applies stencilled detailing, a lollipop seconds hand, designed like an ejection seat pull handle, and luminous hour markers and hands. The watch also features an open case back to expose the Calibre BB14 calibre, equipped with a 68-hour power reserve.
Altitude Chronograph GMT
As mentioned, the Trip-Tick case is now slimmer, lighter and stronger, with a smaller lug-to-lug measurement designed to fit better against the wrist. Measuring 42mm in diameter, the Bremont Altitude Chronograph GMT watch is once again crafted from titanium and features a palpable RAF uniform-inspired blue dial surrounded by a black minutes ring. Plenty of Super-LumiNova has been added to the model’s leaf-shaped hands, while the 24-hour sub-counter at 12 o’clock is combined with a beautiful glove decoration for home time. The date sub-dial sits at 6 o’clock, while the leap year and month aperture sits at 3 o’clock, balanced by the small seconds with propellor-like hands at 9 o’clock. You can choose from a titanium bracelet or blue patina leather band for this watch – each one powered by a movement capable of a 50-hour power reserve.

Altitude 39 Date
The Altitude 39 Date watch retains the DNA of the MB watch (Martin Baker) with a DLC-coated central barrel and the same redesigned Trip-Tick case construction. The 39mm diameter of its case and its slimmer construction will certainly appeal to those with smaller wrists. Meanwhile, the dial has the same black finish as the GMT model, so it’s perfect for pairing with virtually anything in your wardrobe, especially formal attire if you tend to dress smart for work. This stripped-down dial, however, exudes a more cockpit-ready look, with details kept to a minimum and a clear, coherent display for quickly accessing information while on the go. It’s probably the most legible of all the new Bremont releases of this year’s Watches & Wonders event.
The watch uses the same movement as the MB Meteor, exposing the same arrangement and decoration through a see-through caseback. However, if the black dial is a little too classic for you, you may consider the silver variant, presented in a galvanic metal display. The watch features a H-Link bracelet, which enables it to sit flush with the rest of the case for a seamless look. Those unsure of Bremont’s transitional period last year will undoubtedly feel more reassured having seen the new releases at Watches & Wonders this year. The new Altimeter recipe pulls from the brand’s past, utilizing its famous Trip-Tick construction and returning to a more tool-like utilitarian formula.
Supermarine 500M
It wouldn’t be fair to cover these new Bremont releases for 2025 without mentioning the new Supermarine watch. While fans may have been anticipating a more adventurous dial colour, there is no denying that the texture across this new black dial variant perfectly captures the movement of the ocean’s surface and the environment where the Supermarine is most at home. The dial has received a fair dose of Super-LumiNova material upon its hour markers and hands, while the triangular tipped seconds hand and date window at 3 o’clock add to the more practical features of the watch.

Being a 500-meter water-resistant watch, the 43mm Bremont Supermarine 500M has a helium escape valve and a screw-locked crown that ensures a dry environment for automatic movement sitting within. As well as a practical stainless steel bracelet, the watch also features a unidirectional rotating bezel for easily measuring elapsed time whilst underwater.
