Breitling Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition Watch Review

Dating back to 2003, Breitling and Bentley celebrate their longstanding partnership with the new Breitling Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition that showcases both brands commitment to quality, performance and design excellence – the perfect pairing sharing the same values that has built the longest ever partnership between a watch brand and an automobile manufacturer. The collaboration began sixteen years ago when the world’s most admired luxury car brand asked Breitling to design the onboard clock for the first Continental GT.
The charming limited edition not only pays tribute to the partnership built on powerful legacies but to Bentley’s centenary year – that’s 100 years of luxury motoring excellence. Joining the Premier collection that Breitling released late last year, the new addition to the series brings elegance and sophistication in all its glory.
Admire the exquisite brown elm burl dial with contrasting subdials situated at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock framed by a black inner bezel with a white tachymeter scale. Housed inside the 18ct red gold or stainless steel case is the Manufacture Calibre 01 with a 70-hour power reserve is clearly visible through the transparent caseback that features a Bentley logo.
There are two versions of the limited edition – one boasting an 18ct red gold case engraved with ‘ONE OF 200’ and the second featuring a stainless steel design inscribed with ‘ONE OF 1000.’ On the left hand side of the case sits a plate with a Bentley inscription, which is influenced by the dashboard of the 1929 “Blower” Bentley racing car. Both models are fastened to the wrist with a brown leather strap, which features a subtle quilt stitch that reflects the seats in a Bentley exuding luxury and elegance. Depending on personal preference, the stainless steel version is also available on a stainless-steel bracelet.
