Alpina Watch Seastrong Diver Heritage Review
Friday - 19 August 2016
First making an appearance nearly 50 years ago, the Alpina Seastrong 10 returns to the forefront under the new title Seastrong Diver Heritage; a revival that has taken the faithful classic instrument thrusting the device into a contemporary world. A nostalgic nod to the sixties in you like.
The handsome diving watch is sophisticated and elegant in its design. The white and black 42 mm dial brings a charming, stylistic look from the 60s that doesn’t look out of place on the modern market. Opting for a slimline stainless steel super compressor case also provides the timepiece with elegance when fastened to the wrist. Peer through the sapphire crystal glass to marvel at the transformed retro diving piece that has received a warm welcome since its release at Baselworld 2016.
Remaining true to it’s diving title, the Alpina Seastrong Heritage is water resistant to 300 meters enabled by the super compressor case that features a sealing spring to improve watertightness.; a case made by Erwin Piquerez SA (EPSA). Boasting a twin crown system for added precision and control, diving professionals can certainly rest assured that their watch companion is trustworthy and reliable. The crown positioned at 2 o’clock controls the internal rotating bezel whereas the second at 4 o’clock sets the time and date.
Alpina offers a sophisticated wrist presence with their Heritage model; a different direction for the brand with many of their watches opting for a powerful, bold character. Looking back through their history, Alpina has revived a refined classic offering; an alternative approach to the collection delivering sporting elegance.
