Raymond Weil Watch Launches #MusicMatters Charity Campaign
Wednesday - 12 June 2013
The #MusicMatters campaign invites Twitter users to share why music matters to them, and is backed by artists and producers including JLS, Labrinth, Muse, DJ Fresh, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Coldplay, Plan B and Wretch 32. They will each tweet a photograph of a moment in music that transformed their lives, and invite fans to do the same.
For every tweet received, Raymond Weil will donate 10p to Nordoff Robbins. "Examples of #musicmatters moments include: a snap taken at a favourite gig, the cover of a meaningful album, a first wedding dance or a favourite instrument," the brand says.
The campaign celebrates 10 years of partnership between Raymond Weil and the music therapy charity, and was launched during Music Therapy Week (8th-15th June).
“This campaign is one that is extremely close to our hearts," said Craig Leach, UK Director of Raymond Weil. "Many of the artists involved with the campaign have been supporters of the charity for many years and have seen how Nordoff Robbins has transformed so many people’s lives through music therapy. We are extremely proud of our 10 year partnership with Nordoff Robbins and we are excited to be able to help increase awareness of the charity through the driving force of social media."
Lucy Jackson, Head of Communications Nordoff Robbins said: "Raymond Weil has been a huge support to Nordoff Robbins over the last 10 years. Music is such an important part of our lives and this campaign will be a great insight into why and how music matters to so many people.”
