Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase Watch Review
Tuesday - 10 March 2015
Longines adds a chronograph to their existing Conquest Classic range prior to Baselworld 2015.
Introducing the Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase - a new edition to the collection of elegant timepieces. The new design will be available in a stainless steel version, a steel and rose gold cap combination or a 18 carat rose gold edition to allow for spectators to choose their preference.
With a case that measures at 42mm in diameter, the oversized dial accommodates a 30-minute and 12 hour counter and a central sweeping seconds hand. The dial proudly showcases a complete calendar that includes the day and month, the phases of the moon, the exact date via a half moon central hand, a 24 hour indicator and running seconds at 9 o’clock.
Opt for either a black or silvered dial, which contains 9 prominent markers that are coated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in light restriction. The sapphire crystal case back showcases the self-winding mechanical chronograph movement L678, which is based on the Valjoux 7751. To fasten the stunning timepiece choose from either a black alligator strap, steel bracelet or steel and rose gold cap bracelet all complete with a triple folding safety clasp.
The Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase is certainly a striking masterpiece that holds an air of luxury and sophistication. Each stunning edition captures an aesthetic that exudes an exquisite elegance and timeless beauty. With the variety in colour, materials and straps, Longines has strived to embrace diversity in a classic appearance.
