Oris has renewed its partnership with the Williams Formula One racing team for a twelfth year.
The Swiss watch manufacturer believes the successful partnership is based on a number of shared values, including "independence, a strive for precision in the most meticulous details, and a passionate team of people dedicated to achieving extraordinary results".
In the 2014 season the Oris logo will appear in a new prominent position on the cars' nose, as well as on the team overalls, gloves, helmets and personnel kit.
"The prestigious world of Formula One continues to be a great platform to promote Oris," Ulrich W. Herzog, Executive Chairman of Oris, said. "Renewing the partnership for a twelfth season reinforces our continued support and commitment to Williams. As a purely mechanical Swiss watch brand we at Oris identify with the highly demanding racing environment and this dedication to quality and success.”
Sir Frank Williams, Team Principal of Williams, commented: "Oris feel like a part of the family having been a partner with us for twelve years now, and I’m delighted to announce that this relationship will continue once again for 2014. We have enjoyed a successful partnership because our brands are highly complementary: we are family run businesses with a strong heritage, a history of innovation, and a desire to embrace new technologies. Strong partnerships are the lifeblood of an independent team like Williams and the continued support of Oris will help us fight for success this season."
