The red and black colour scheme of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph watch reference CBZ2085.FT8093 captures the adrenaline of the race track and the Swiss watchmaker’s prolific relationship with motorsport very aptly. The 44mm diameter of the case, though wide and domineering, is counterbalanced by a grade 2 titanium material, black coated to give this lightweight bodywork a look of stealth on the wrist.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph watch reference CBZ2085.FT8093 features 30 minutes, small seconds, and 12 hours for the sub dial functions, but also features a central chronograph seconds feature in red and a date window at 3 o’clock. Additional red accents can be admired in the trim on the screw down crown at 3 o’clock and in the red sporty rubber band that secures comfortably to the wrist with a black coated steel pin buckle. At the heart of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch lies the automatic Calibre 16 with a 42 hour power reserve. Additional features include a 200 meter water resistance and a tachymeter bezel for measuring speed based on distance.
