Considered one of the most pioneering, inventive jazz drummers of the 20th century, it was only a matter of time before Oris finally honoured the musician in the form of one of their watches, and the Oris Artelier is the perfect choice for its stylish, sophisticated and functional aesthetic.

Filled with vintage influence, the stunning Oris Artelier Art Blakey Limited Edition watch features a 38mm polished stainless steel case and a gorgeous dark brown leather strap with a folding clasp. The dial is kept clean and simple with classic hour, minute and seconds powered by the Oris 733 automatic winding movement. The Swiss made calibre also promises a power reserve of 38 hours, 26 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The dial continues to impress with a silver tone finish decorated with applied minute and hour markers along its perimeter which are fashioned specifically to evoke the shape of a bass drum claw as used by Art Blakey himself. The musician is commemorated again on the decorated stainless steel case back engraved with a pattern reminiscent of a hi-hat cymbal.
