The Breitling Super Chronomat B01 44 watch may just be the Swiss watch manufacturer's boldest design to date. Staying true to its predecessors, the Chronomat Chronograph features a unidirectional and ratcheted bezel with interchangeable tabs at the 15 and 45 positions and for the very first time includes a scratch resistant black ceramic insert. The case has also been upsized to 44 millimetres and is strapped on by a unique rubber band inspired by the legendary rifle-shell-linked Rouleaux bracelet. The case is engineered from polished stainless steel and paired with cambered sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating and an exhibition case back which offers a glimpse of the automatic winding movement inside.

Housed within the men’s Breitling Super Chronomat B01 Chronograph watch is the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 automatic winding movement. Created entirely in-house by the luxury watch brand, the movement comes equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism for the chronograph which on the smooth black dial delivers a bright red central chronograph seconds hand and two subsidiary counters for 30 minutes and 12 hours. Also situated on the dial is a subsidiary counter dressed in silver for small seconds and two large central hands for hours and minutes. For exceptional readability in all lighting conditions, the hour and minute hands are treated with Superluminova coating as is the rounded marker at 12 o’clock. The Super Chronomat B01 Chronograph 44 watch is completed by a power reserve of 70 hours, a screw locked crown with two gaskets and a water resistant rating of 200 metres.
