Company founder Willy Breitling and his Huit Aviation Department is carried on in its design which is inspired by the legendary watches found within the Breitling watch collections from the 1930’s. It’s statement 41mm stainless steel case is fitted with a unique bidirectional ratcheted bezel designed to be easy to handle even when wearing gloves.

The eye catching blue dial on this Breitling Aviator 8 watch continues to prove its worth with highly legible Arabic numerals and large propeller styled hour and minute hands coated in glow in the dark Superluminova. Housed above the dial is sapphire crystal glass which not only provides incredible scratch resistance but has been coated in anti-reflective treatment for even better readability. The case is fitted with a screw down crown and solid closed case back to assist in its 100 metre water resistance. Hidden behind the beautifully decorated case back is the Breitling 45 automatic winding movement, a Swiss made calibre that has been COSC certified to be accurate to -4 to +6 seconds a day. The movement also provides central hands for hour, minute and seconds, a date window at 6 o clock, an elongated day window at 12 o clock and a power reserve of 38 hours.
