Continuing the Baume collection’s desire for sustainable watchmaking, the Baume et Mercier Baume Moon Phase watch delivers the familiar recyclable cotton strap, wired lugs and the iconic 12’clock crown alongside a new complication at the centre. Powered by the Swiss made Ronda 708 quartz movement, a breathtaking moonphase aperture sits in the middle of the blue lacquer dial. At 12 o’clock a crisp silver moon sits there permanently while the window beneath it displays the current lunar cycle as you’d see it from your bedroom window at night adorned with a backdrop of stars. The dial is also home to rhodium-plated baton-shaped hands for the hours and minutes and a white dotted minutes track which again intentionally mirrors the night sky.

In contrast to the blue dial, the Baume Moon Phase Quartz watch delivers a resolutely modern stainless steel case with black PVD lugs and crown. The case mirrors the same profile as previous Baume watches with a slender thickness of only 8.1 millimetres and a diameter of 42 millimetres. The closed stainless steel case back also assures a 30 metre water resistance while scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass guarantees protection and easy legibility of the dial beneath. Securing the luxury watch to the wrist is a gorgeous blue cotton strap detailed with cream buttons on the back and a classic pin style buckle. The strap also features an interchangeable system so you can easily swap the band around with any other compatible Baume strap.
