The latest collaboration watch between Zodiac and Huckberry is as tough as nails with its new lightweight yet strong titanium case.
Cast your mind back to 2021 when dive watch manufacturer Zodiac teamed up with Huckberry to create a limited edition Super Sea Wolf watch that was inspired by the beautiful Farallon Islands. It captured the way that light pierced the rippling waters that sit off the northern Californian coast in the Pacific Ocean. Thanks to its unforgiving terrain, the grouping of islands within this location is uninhabitable, yet if you’re an elephant seal, you’re lucky. This marine species gets to enjoy this national wildlife refuge day and night. The deep blue dial of said Zodiac Huckberry watch perfectly expressed beams of light emanating from the top of the dial, creating an effect that evokes the rays of light that can be seen from the underwater abyss.
Anyway, now we’ve set the scene, you get a taste of what’s now on offer. It’s time to introduce another Zodiac Huckberry watch. And not even the bronze and steel black dial variant released last year or the deep green Skin Diver. No, this time a deep blue model cast from grade 5 titanium that demonstrates more experimentation with colour. So, if you felt stainless steel was a little pedestrian for you, you’re in luck.

The new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Skin Diver is a cool-looking thing. It’s just the kind of companion you need for dipping in and out of the water while travelling the world, or for injecting a touch of sporty elegance into the wrist. The triangular-shaped indexes are such an iconic look for this dive watch. They’ve received plenty of luminous material to keep you on track of the time in all conditions, plus they sit against the deepest, richest blue colour you’ve ever seen. The Super Sea Wolf Skin Diver has been reviewed many times, but now cast in titanium, you’ll likely get a whole new experience from wearing this particular model on your wrist.
Not only is titanium light and strong but it gives the case of the new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Skin Diver watch a different material colour to appreciate. Paired with that deep blue dial, it’s an altogether different look that fans are sure to love. Another small side note is that the watch is now powered by a different movement. You get the STP1-21 engine as opposed to the former STP1-11. It’s a case of “swings and roundabouts” here, as even though the power reserve has dropped a little from 44 hours to 41 hours, the movement offers greater accuracy. It’s a reasonable trade-off since you’ll likely never want to go longer than a few hours without this watch on your wrist anyway.
Where orange lume was used in the past, we now have blue lume on the dial of the new Zodiac Huckberry Super Sea Wolf watch. It makes for quite a nice cool finish to the dial in the dark. Those triangular markers at cardinal points around the dial are made even more prominent by the black Arabic 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock markings. Considering the watch has been updated with new materials and movement, it still promises a very reasonable price of £1,799. For this price, you also get a black textile strap that completes the look of this compact (39mm) 200-meter water-resistant watch perfectly.
The new lightweight and strong build of the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Skin Diver Huckberry watch is enough to get any fan sitting up and taking notice. It’s just the kind of watch you need for plenty of outdoor exploration or water-based sports. It certainly won’t let you down during your outdoor pursuits, whether that be white water rafting, mornings chasing the waves whilst surfing, or a spot rock-pooling with the kids. With nigh on seven decades of excellence behind the design of the Sea Wolf watch, this Zodiac and Huckberry collab is a great contemporary design that still nods to some subtle vintage aesthetics of the past.
