To celebrate the start of the 2017 RBS 6 Nations Championship next week, Tissot have released a timepiece dedicated to the rugby tournament. The new addition to the T-Touch Expert Solar Collection encompasses the spirit of the sport and the competition; an exclusive sports watch that is manufactured to a limitation of 66 pieces.

The championship consists of six proud nations who battle it out for victory. The patriotic fans of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales join to support their team bringing a sense of excitement to each stadium. Friendly sporting rivalry between the nations dates back more than 140 years! Tissot certainly capture the passion for the tournament in the watch platform.

Instantly, the wearer is drawn to the white rugby ball shape that is stitched onto the vivid blue nato strap; a feature that leaps from the strap due to a contrast in colour and an obvious reference to the championship. The engraved logo on the case back confirms the influence adding a sophisticated touch to the timepiece. Another reference includes the blue and white colour combination found on the indexes, hands and strap that follows the RBS 6 Nations colours. Finally, the Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar RBS 6 Nations watch is presented in a unique box sitting next to a signed rugby ball; a sports enthusiasts dream.

Of course, the T-Touch Solar series is completely tactile hosting 20 touch functions. A particularly useful feature for rugby fanatics is the countdown timer, chronograph and meteo - functions that will effortlessly help plan a match.

The new release is the perfect tribute to the championship. The watch design brings a sporting elegance with the sophisticated hints to the rugby tournament via colour, function and references.
