https://www.jurawatches.co.uk/collections/montblanc-watches/?sort_by=created-descending

As most of us are coming up for air following the exciting releases of Watches & Wonders 2025, Montblanc doesn’t have any left! Its 0 Oxygen watches are giving enthusiasts lots to talk about this week with the new Mount Vinson limited edition, not to mention 0 Oxygen versions of the Iced Sea collection too. Check them out here as Jura Watches reveals all the latest Montblanc releases of Watches & Wonders 2025.

Montblanc 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen Mount Vinson Limited Edition

Anyone affiliated with Montblanc will already know that the master watchmaker uses the Geosphere watch collection as a means of paying homage to one of the world’s most famous high-altitude mountaineers, Reinhold Messner – the first man to summit all the 14 eight-thousanders. He also successfully ascended Mt Everest without the supplementation of oxygen. This is not a new thing for Montblanc. Previous examples include last year’s 0 Oxygen 1858 Geosphere watch. Still, for this year’s 2025 release, Montblanc extends on the Geosphere collection once more with the new 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen Mount Vinson Limited Edition watch.

The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere watch was launched in 2018 as a sporty, rugged, retro-inspired design dedicated to Minerva watches of yesteryear. The collection's first release set the tone with a world-time complication that featured two globes representing the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, rotating in different directions. This newest iteration celebrates another Messner feat – his ascent to the highest peak in Antarctica in 1986 – a year referenced in the 986 limited edition models released in this special series. The new watch's bold 43.5mm titanium case is directly inspired by the mountain’s landscape, with an outline of the mountain etched in lume on the middle case section. You can also get the watch on a black dial with an 18ct rose gold case and a sleek black rubber band.

Silver and blue shades on the dial set the icy tones for a glacial-inspired dial, adorned with the brand’s sfumato pattern, achieved via an intricate process called gratte-boise. Of course, as this is one of Montblanc’s no-oxygen designs, it houses the in-house Calibre MB 29.25 inside a case void of oxygen for fog and oxidisation prevention. Also new for this Montblanc Watches & Wonders 2025 release is the brand’s first interchangeable rubber band, adorned with a mountaineer’s rope motif to keep in line with the watch’s Alpine influences.

Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date Watches

The distressed effect on any luxury watch is a very cool look anyway. Still, Montblanc manages to smash it out of the park with the new release of the Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date “Distressed” watch, complete with a deliberately weathered steel case, executed with a brushing of quartzite across its steel surface to give it a stealthy look. The quartzite used to create this unique look is taken from the Mont Blanc mountain itself, while the dial pattern, once again, uses the same grate-boise technique to achieve a full-of-depth canvas for timekeeping.

This release marks Montblanc’s introduction of the 0 Oxygen concept into its entry-level pieces, which is exciting enough in itself. However, as well as being technically impressive, this 41mm brings together all that the collection represents. Icy glaciers, sheer mountain faces and the adventurous spirit of diving. The watch comes on an interchangeable black leather strap with a taper that makes it more wearable and comfortable and water-resistant to 300 meters. Accompanying this new release are two other steel versions; one with a blue dial and one with a white dial – both of which come on an option of a steel bracelet or colour-matching strap.

A ceramic insert in blue or white on each respective model enhances the 60-minute dive scale for measuring elapsed time underwater. Flip the watch over and more details can be enjoyed. An engraving of a diver and an iceberg in relief, with the outline of the Mont Blanc mountain in the background. These watches are all powered by an automatic movement and conform to ISO 6425 standards.
