As explained, the hype around the famous Tiffany dial came about as a result of a special collaboration between Rolex and Tiffany & Co who created timepieces bearing the special “Tiffany & Co” reference across the dials. The Tissot PRX watch with Tiffany dial is referred to by the Swiss brand as a light green dial. Reviewers are classifying it as a “mint green’ dial, but for anyone who has longed to own their own “Tiffany dial” watch, this is a shade that comes close to the original. It belongs to the PRX range, which offers models in quartz, automatic, chronograph and simple three-handed form. The PRX is still a like-for-like design compared to the first models released in 1978. When up close and personal with the watch, you’ll see that there’s a grain effect finish to the dial that catches the light and creates a quality feel for under £300. Ideal for the summer months, the dial features slim stick hour markers with a streak of luminous material applied to their surfaces. In addition to this, the central hour and minute hands have also been treated with this same luminous material.
The Tissot PRX watch with a Tiffany dial features a case diameter of 40mm. The steel case has a tonneau-shaped profile and is 100-meter water resistant. The date wheel on the dial resides at 3 o’clock against a white background for enhanced readability. The lugs give way to a large taper where a handsome stainless steel link bracelet drastically adds to the retro sporty look of the watch’s character.
The integrated steel bracelet of this new Tissot PRX watch secures to the wrist with a folding clasp. The face and sides of the bracelet have a brushed finish, yet there is a small amount of polished detailing on the inner sections between the links. The Tissot PRX watch has an interchangeable quick-release bracelet design with a butterfly clasp with push buttons. Lastly, the watch is powered by a quartz movement but is also available on a waffle dial with an automatic movement for a slightly higher price tag.
