We are incredibly excited to announce Tutima as part of the Jura Watches family! Designed to be indispensable tools for both pilots and everyday adventurers everywhere, we have no doubt that Tutima watches are going to be an instant hit with our fantastic client base. It was in the year 1927 that Tutima was first established, during a time when an awakening was in the air for much of Europe following the end of WWI. From technical innovation to young arts like film and photography to legendary music like Jazz, it was an era for originality and creativity. At this point, Glashutte had already become a world-renown city for timepiece manufacture and in the midst of crisis, two companies were founded: Uhren-Rohwerke-Fabrik Glashütte AG (UROFA) and Uhrenfabrik Glashütte AG, known as UFAG. Dr. Ernst Kurtz was the Chairman and Managing Director of both institutions and it was he that realised it was not the widely utilised pocket watch that was needed anymore, but the wristwatch. From that moment, the city of Glashutte made history, shunning competitive Swiss brands and becoming home to a range of extraordinary, reliable and durable timepieces under the name “Tutima”. A name that perfectly suits, deriving from the Latin word for ‘safe’ and ‘secure’.

Tutima Grand Flieger Watches

There is no better timepiece from Tutima to better reflect their aviation DNA than the Tutima Grand Flieger. Their designs are directly descended from the legendary Tutima pilot chronograph from 1941, the very watch supplied to the German government for the balance of the war and the first German chronograph to have a fly back function. Tutima Grand Flieger watches continue to set the standard for aesthetics and functionality today with stunning 43mm coin edged bezels inspired by jet engine turbines and high precision automatic movements displayed through generous transparent case backs.

Tutima Saxon One Watches

The sporty brother of the group, the Tutima Saxon One collection brings sport-elegance back on trend with an entirely new style in the world of German watches. Their bold lines, steep architecture and dominant pyramid shaped bezels instantly capture attention while the harmonious dial designs, often inclusive of powerful chronograph function, provide a transitional sophisticated finish.
