The Startimer Pilot Automatic is the result of a legendary aviation heritage. Alpina is well known for supplying military aviation watches to continental air forces, for the first fifty years of the past century. Choose from either a titanium-coloured stainless steel 44mm case with a stunning matte dark grey dial or a stainless steel or rose gold-plated frame with a matte dark blue or white watch face.
To enhance readability and to create a striking contrast the lighter shades feature grey outlined applied indices whereas the darker dials boast white oversized numerals and markers. The propeller hands and indices are luminous to optimise legibility in restricted lighting. The Alpina signature red triangle sits at 12 o’clock and circles the dial at the end of the seconds’ hand. A date display is positioned at 3 o’clock to finish the neatly arranged, highly readable dial beautifully.
