Following his success at the London 2012 Olympics, Rado ambassador Andy Murray has won the US Open Final - making him the first British male Grand Slam singles champion in 76 years.
"When I realised I had won, I was a little bit shocked, I was very relieved and I was very emotional," Murray said of his historic victory over Novak Djokovic.
Andy Murray won Olympic gold in the men's singles this summer, as well as a silver medal in the mixed doubles. He also reached the Wimbledon final, and Rado has paid tribute to his "trademark passion and determination" since the partnership began in June 2012.
"Andy’s continued success and his entertaining style of play, his tears at Wimbledon and triumph at London 2012, have been some of the most memorable sporting moments of the year so far," Rado CEO Matthias Breschan said following Murray's Olympic success. "Rado is proud to be associated with such a dedicated and passionate sportsman."
Speaking of his success this year, Murray said: "I've achieved a lot and it's been great to have Rado by my side - and on my wrist - along the way."
Murray wears a Rado D-Star 200 Automatic, and starred in the brand's summer advertising campaign.
