As Official Watch of the Jungfrau Railway Centenary, Tissot opened a store at the peak of the Jungfrau mountain.
The Jungfrau Railway has been transporting passengers from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch for 100 years, stopping at Europe's highest altitude railway station - 3,454 metres above sea level - and offering beautiful views of the ice and snow.
To celebrate the centenary, Tissot placed a store at the mountain peak, giving shoppers an "incredible journey" through the Swiss mountains. The modern boutique is Tissot's highest shop in the world, and includes a photo display of Tissot's brand ambassadors and a wide range of watches.
Tissot T-Touch Expert Jungfraubahn
The Jungfrau store also displays the new Tissot Jungfraubahn Collection - eight special Tissot watches created in tribute to the railway's milestone, with the aim of bringing an "alpine feeling to Switzerland lovers all over the world". The range includes a special T-Touch Expert with the mountain range depicted on the dial, and a limited edition mechanical pocket watch. Each timepiece is presented in a collectable box.
