55 years of exceptional watchmaking sparks Grand Seiko to mark their anniversary with an exciting new artistic project.
Three photographers accept their mission to capture watchmaking through their artistic eye! Each naturally taking a different approach, the outcome is mesmerisingly beautiful provoking ideas of time, roles and parts of watch construction. The results showcase how closely linked art and watchmaking are with the intricate mechanisms transforming into exquisite abstract pieces, the exploration of the flow of time and intimate portraits of the Grand Seiko employees; all would certainly take pride of place mounted in an art gallery.
