Alpina is supporting the Race for Water Foundation with the launch of a new limited edition watch. For each of the special Alpina watches sold, the brand will make a donation of 50CHF to the foundation.
The Race for Water Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the planet's most precious resource, both freshwater and oceans. The foundation is a perfect fit for Alpina's official support, as the watchmaker is passionate about the sustainability of natural resources and the preservation of the fragile Alpine, Polar and sea environments.
The new Alpina Alpiner 4 Race for Water Chronograph is limited to 400 pieces worldwide, with just eight available in the UK. The donations from each sale will aid the foundation's effort to create a better, more sustainable future for everyone.
The Alpiner 4 Race for Water Chronograph has a 44 mm stainless steel case with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a 360° bi-directional turning compass bezel. The watch is powered by the Alpina AL-860 bi-compax chronograph calibre with a 46-hour power reserve. It has a silvered sunray dial with blue counter rings and comes with an alligator strap.
