Mühle Glashütte Dedicates Watches to Company Founder

Mühle Glashütte has launched three special edition watches named after the company's founder, Robert Mühle.
The Jubilee Edition celebrates the watch brand's double anniversary in 2014: 145 years since Mühle Glashütte was founded by Robert Mühle, and 20 years since the re-establishment of the family business by Hans-Jürgen Mühle.
The Mühle Glashütte Robert Mühle Auf/Ab and Robert Mühle Kleine Sekunde are each limited to 145 pieces and feature one of two new calibres manufactured by Mühle Glashütte: the RMK 01 and RMK 02.

The watches have white dials in the style of traditional Glashütte pocket watches, and blued hands. Each watch has a brushed and polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 44 mm, and a 56-hour power reserve.
The Robert Mühle Auf/Ab is powered by the RMK 01 calibre with a new up/down power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock. The up/down display retrograde mechanism containing 25 components and is mounted as an independent module on the plate of the movement containing the dial.

A special edition 18 carat gold version of the Robert Mühle Auf/Ab is also available. The Mühle Glashütte Robert Mühle Auf/Ab Gold is limited to just 20 pieces. The dial has an enamel finish with five layers of varnish.
