Oris has unveiled the new Artix Pointer Moon, a classic timepiece that indicates the lunar cycle with a pointer hand.
"This new Artix member has been evolved to indicate the lunar cycle in addition to its traditional date function," the brand explains. "The pointer moon hand moves every half day and thus indicates a precise position of the moon cycle as opposed
to the more common 'romantic' moon display."
The Oris Artix Pointer Moon is powered by the new in-house 761 calibre movement, with a date display at 6 o'clock.
The watch has been given a "slimmer and more elegant" design, with an additional chamfer along its horns. It has a 42 mm stainless steel case with a stainless steel crown, and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside.
The black dial has been redesigned, with a two-part structure made up of an inner and outer disc. The timepiece comes with a black calf skin leather strap with croco pattern, or a metal bracelet.
