Graham has revealed the Chronofighter Oversize Superlight GT Asia, a new limited edition timepiece that celebrates its role as Official Timekeeper of the GT Asia Series.
"The GT Asia Series is an exceptional event which enthrals thousands of racing enthusiasts," said Eric Loth, Graham CEO. "We are proud to race alongside great champions and partners. This year especially we could not miss the season without bringing our watch making skills to the highest level of performance to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix. The result is our Chronofighter Oversize Superlight GT Asia showing what mechanics and motorsport are all about."
The Graham Chronofigher Oversize Superlight GT Asia has a lightweight black carbon nanotube composite case, weighing less than 100g and with a diameter of 47 mm. It is powered by the calibre G1747 automatic chronograph movement, with Incabloc shock absorber and 48 hours power reserve.
The watch has a black ceramic bezel, and a unique carbon start/stop lever on the left of the case that provides "more stiffness and enhanced usability". A tachymeter scale facilitates the measurement of speed, and a yellow painted indicator on the reversed minutes counter shows the starting point. The dial is black with snailed counters, and the domed sapphire crystal glass has anti-reflective coating on both faces. The smoked sapphire crystal case back features GT Asia and Superlight inscriptions, along with the limited edition serial number.
The Chronofighter Oversize Superlight GT Asia comes with an integrated red rubber strap with Clous de Paris decoration, and is a limited edition of just 88 pieces.
