SevenFriday are opening themselves up to a whole new set of wearers with the brand new SevenFriday P1B/01M Limited Edition watch. This remarkable new instrument features the brand’s first ever metal bracelet which has been specifically designed in-house to fit their iconic round edged square case. The bracelet completely transforms the P1B/01 into a whole new statement piece while still providing the same style, quality and comfort that we have come to expect from the Swiss manufacturer.
It is clear to see that SevenFriday have put a lot of effort and attention to detail into the new SevenFriday P1B/01M Bracelet. Its sophisticated construction consists of three rows of independent links and four adjustable links on each side that taper down from 28mm to 20mm. The smooth edges, brushed domed surfaces and polished angles finish off the elegant aesthetic perfectly while the folding butterfly buckle adds one a touch of security with a system of dual pushers.
The bracelet pairs perfectly with the 316L stainless steel case, bezel and animation ring which measures to a statement 47mm in size. The case of the SevenFriday P1B/01M Limited Edition watch is finished using a combination of polished, satined, brushed and sandblasted effects with a stamped pattern on the crown side. We are also treated to K1 hardened mineral glass with an anti-reflective treatment and a water resistant rating of 30 metres.
For once, the dial of a SevenFriday watch doesn’t take centre stage as the new bracelet on the SevenFriday P1B/01M watch has completely changed the game. With that being said, the skeletonised dial on this limited edition still amazes with five layers of alternatively treated galvanic rhodium making up its structure. The layers are decorated in matte, polished, sunray and circular brushed finishes for a complex and stunning finish while the 8 applied indexes and white luminous painting on the hour hand make the dial easy to read.
Powering the functions on the dial is the MIYOTA 82S7 automatic winding calibre. This Japanese mechanical movement provides central hands for hour and minutes, 24 hour function on a disc at 9 o clock and a small seconds disc at 5 o clock. The self-winding calibre also shows off the balance wheel through the dial and delivers an impressive power reserve of 40 hours.
