During the 1920s and 1930s, linear designs and geometric shapes were the order of the day. Ever since, luxury watch brands have been creating timepieces that capture the artistic culture of this era with vintage-inspired watches designed to please those with a fascination for this distinctive style. The new Raymond Weil Toccata watch collection for 2022 features a family of wristwatches with simplified cases and dials that communicate a sense of symmetry and minimalism. The original Toccata watch collection was first released by Raymond Weil back in 2020 – each design referencing the Art Deco movement with long lines and crisp edges. The new Raymond Weil Toccata green watch boasts an entrancing emerald green dial set with a total of 8 diamonds that amount to a total weight of 0.026 carats. These diamond dot hour markers are mixed with traditional Roman numeral hour markers at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. These silver-coloured hour markers create a beautiful contrast against the rich green background of the dial, creating a dial that is incredibly easy to read despite a lack of luminous material on any of the appliques.

The black version of the new Toccata watch by Raymond Weil offers a very classic option for pairing with all styles of attire including a professional suit, an elegant evening outfit, or something a little more relaxed at the weekend. This is partly to do with Raymond Weil’s choice to fit each timepiece with a comfortable leather strap. Tone-on-tone stitching adorns each of these leather bands down the sides, including the red and green versions too. Each leather strap secures to the wrist with a classic stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the famous RW logo – a symbol of authenticity and expert manufacture. Silver-coloured hour and minute hands compliment all three dials, whilst a strong piece of anti-reflective and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass protects them from damage. The minute track on the new Raymond Weil Toccata watch is positioned inside the hour track in a rectangular shape, enabling for the minutes to be read clearly alongside the hours, whilst a date window resides at 3 o’clock.
