The new Junghans Form A watch with a luxurious blue dial and stylish brown leather strap is one of the newest addition to this popular line for 2022 and has been released in conjunction with two quartz-powered Junghans Form Damen watches – all of which are equally as minimalist and timeless.

Junghans believes that good style is both timeless and modern, thus its Form A watches feature a very pared-back design that promotes a simple approach to timekeeping. In doing so, the individual elements of each design speak for themselves. Certainly suited for special occasions, Form A watches are incredibly elegant and sophisticated, making this latest release - fitted on a beautiful light brown leather strap and presenting the time on a deep blue display - an ideal companion for wearing seven days a week. The new Junghans Form A watch has a convex-shaped case that exemplifies its relatively slim profile. This is what makes the watch such a great option for pairing with professional, smart or elegant attire. Optical refinement, such as its smooth and softened case shape, reveals more thought and detail behind the design than first impressions would suggest. One of the most distinctive features of the previous Form A watches included a minute track characterised by square indexes. These have been removed for the design of this new Junghans Form A watch, whose dial is incredibly stripped back to basics, revealing just hands, hour markers, brand name and date function.

The launch of the new Junghans Form A watch has been released in conjunction with two Form Damen watches – powered by a quartz movement. Instead, this model is powered by an automatic movement – the Calibre J800.2. The self-winding movement performs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is designed on the architecture of the ETA 2824-2. It provides a 38-hour power reserve once fully wound and comprises 25 jewels. It propels a set of delicate-looking hands around a sumptuous deep blue dial with a matte finish. The hands are straight and have been treated with a layer of environmentally friendly luminous material.
In that same vein, the elegant stick hour markers are also beige in colour and have been coated in the same luminous material. A needle fine seconds hand glides effortlessly around the spacious dial inside a 39.2mm polished stainless steel bezel. The steel case of the watch is water resistant to 50 meters and is sealed on the front with a flat piece of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. The surface of the glass has been treated with a layer of anti-reflective treatment to grant a clear view into the dial. The back of the case is fitted with a mineral glass material for admiring the automatic movement whilst it works.
The slim case of this new Junghans Form A watch is fitted with a light brown leather band. The strap is ergonomically developed with a black leather lining that sits comfortably against the skin. Securing the leather strap to the wrist is a stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the Junghans logo. In addition to this, the Junghans star is attached to the surface of the leather strap on the south side, below the Junghans lettering on the dial. This pin is a subtle design feature that adds significantly to the exclusive and refined feel of the German-made watch.
