The Bell & Ross BR 05 watch collection adopts the circle-within-a-square design that has come to be closely associated with the brand’s instrument panel-inspired watch series. Despite their strong tool-like design, BR 05 watches take on a much sportier appeal. Within this collection, you can find the Auto range for those who prefer simpler designs, the GMT range for those who frequently travel, and the Skeleton sub-range that features watches with a more complex and technical design. In addition to all these, the sporty Chrono version is perfect for effortless stopwatch timings whilst on the go. The models from the BR 05 watch collection are characterised by their integrated case design, with a bracelet that transcends effortlessly into the main body of the watch.

This type of design harks back to the Seventies, and when transposed to Bell & Ross, it creates a result with a graphic style which is both striking and modern.”

Ideal for adding summer vibes to the wrist but equally as stylish when paired with a winter wardrobe, the BR 05 Sky Blue watch was hard to resist and, just like the recent three-handed BR 05 Green Auto watch, is inspired by natural colours that are versatile enough to enjoy throughout the four seasons. The new Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Green watch is powered by an automatic movement and features the same stylish integrated bracelet for a sporty yet dynamic finish on the wrist. If I have one bugbear, it's watches that list a colour in their title but don’t pack the punch you expect them to on the wrist. Luckily for the new green Bell & Ross watch, that’s not the case. The watch is undeniably green and looks incredibly sporty with its stainless steel case, complete with brushed and polished effects. The new BR 05 watch from Bell & Ross features a diameter of 42mm and evokes a strong and confident persona with its anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass front and exhibition caseback.
Behind this sapphire-backed case, you can catch a glimpse of a 360-degree oscillating weight as part of the Calibre BR 326. The automatic movement offers central hours and minutes as well as a small second feature at 9 o’clock, central chronograph seconds, and a 30-minute chronograph function. The small seconds and 30-minute totaliser are displayed at the 9 and 3 o’clock locations respectively and are framed by a minute track around the edge of the dial. The chronograph sub-counters are also silver trimmed and feature an almost “squircle” shape that combines beautifully with a set of skeletonised hour and minute hands and a track filled with satin-finished applique numerals. Both the hour markers and the hands have also been treated with Super-LumiNova to assist with easy timekeeping in the dark, whilst a discreet date window is located at 4.30.
The Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Green watch certainly extends the sporty circle-within-a-square design tastefully. The model brings a pop of colour to the wrist but achieves a sporty luxe appeal with its integrated stainless steel bracelet design and brushed steel case effects. The crown at 3 o’clock is screwed down and imbued with the Bell & Ross logo, helping to uphold the case’s water-resistant capability of 100 meters. If you didn’t quite fancy the steel bracelet option, however, you can also enjoy the new Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Green watch on a matching green rubber band that compliments the tones of the dial perfectly.
